This painting was drawn from a photo taken in High Park near where I practice my Tai Chi. There was just a small amount of snow on the ground. It was a cool day - sometime during early spring and it was a very very pleasant place to be. I was really interested in emphasizing the hazy little shadows around the indentations in the snow where the blackened vegetation was poking through.
